Basic Life Support (BLS) Training
This training program is specifically designed to provide dental professionals with the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The dental team is trained by a certified professional, in the dental office, to work together during a potential emergency. Two-year certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross are issued upon successful completion of the training and skills evaluation. Two options for training are available: 4-hour onsite training or 3.5-hour online training with a 15-minute onsite skills demonstration.
Both Training Options Include:
- Hands-on Practice
- Rescue Breathing & CPR Demonstrations
- Skill Evaluation
- How To Use an AED

AED Program Management
Maintaining your AED is just as important as knowing how to use it to save someone’s life. This AED program management system ensures you comply with all regulations after your AED program has been implemented and ensures you always have a working AED ready for an emergency. Without an AED program management system, the dental practice can be liable if anything goes wrong during a medical emergency.
AED Program Management Includes:
- Physician’s Prescription for device; required by law
- Monthly AED Check Reminders (e-mailed to Program Administer and Site Coordinator)
- EMS Notification; required by most states
- 24-Hour Helpline
- Reporting Data Retrieval, post AED use
Program management helps ensure that your AED is in ready, working condition if an emergency were to occur. Purchase protection for your practice today.
